Our SANE trainings have been reviewed and approved by the International Association of Forensic Nurses and the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas as training that meets educational standards.
This continuing education activity is designed for the registered nurse interested in caring for this specialized population. Participants of this course will learn the valuable role of the registered nurse as a forensic nurse examiner; practice standards; components of the adult, adolescent, and pediatric medical forensic exam; evidence collection; and the importance of community collaboration.

The combined Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner: Adult/Adolescent/Pediatric course has IAFN CNE approval for 64.0 hours through the International Association of Forensic Nurses and is now available in a convenient online course.
SANE: Adult/Adolescent course has IAFN CNE approval for 46.2 hours through the International Association of Forensic Nurses and is now available in a convenient online course. This course is approved by the IAFN and the Texas Office of Attorney General.
